Next Previous In December '97, you can see the nice big hole and the mostly complete parking lot. The breezeway is still here, with nice new windows to give is a view of the work on the lower level (hole).

Here you get a good view of the excavation and the demolished sunday school wing and partially demolished breezeway. Note that the door in the center of the photo used to be inside the breezeway.
New parking lot area - (24k)

The new parking lot has been mostly completed, with the exception of the curbing and so forth. It was paved and ready for use by Christmas.
Breezeway interior - (15k)

Here is the breezeway interior. Hogg helpfully put in the little plexiglas windows so we can look out to see the construction. Since many of the sliding glass windows were removed, the breezeway has been rechristened "The Freezeway" for the winter. People don't socialize here much anymore.
