Share the Vision Building Campaign

Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed.

(Proverbs 15:22)

For the Building Committee, the last couple of months have been a season of seeking counsel, a season of planning, and a season of preparation. The contract with the architects has been signed and we have seen the fruit of their counsel. The architects have been working with program staff along with feedback we received from the congregation to develop a new round of conceptual drawings for the Children’s Ministry space and the new worship space. We are in the process of contracting a Construction Manager who will work with the architects and the contractors to keep the project on schedule and within budget. In the next month, you’ll see a backhoe and some holes dug as we look for rock where the worship space/basement will be located. Here are some praises and prayer requests we’d like you to remember in the weeks ahead.

Praises:

  • Pledges from the Share the Vision campaign continue to come in on schedule. Almost $750,000 has been received.
  • The new conceptual drawings from the architects gave us some exciting new design features to consider. The architect is beginning to move from conceptual drawings into detailed design work.

Prayer Requests:

  • We will soon submit our storm water management plans to the County. Please pray for a timely and positive review of the plans.
  • Pray that we will not find significant rock as we explore the construction site.
  • The Building Committee seeks discernment and wisdom as we interview Construction Managers.

Thank you for your prayers and your continuing support. Pray with us as we seek out ways to use our facilities, our resources, and our gifts to further the cause of Christ in Towson, in Baltimore, and around the world!
