Going out to serve In honor of the birth of Jesus and made possible by the generosity of Central Church people, checks were sent for:

  • Tuition for missionaries in training
  • Airfare for a couple serving for 6 months in Africa
  • Funds to a Gulf Coast church reaching out to its neighborhood
  • Distribution of Bibles for Romanian teens
  • Supplies for a home caring for disabled children in Haiti
  • Travel expenses for a teacher visiting underground seminaries in China
  • Gift to a Baltimore mission staff-dad to purchase Christmas presents for his 4 children
  • Money for classroom renovation at a women's college in the Central African Republic
  • Moving expenses for a missionary family
  • Support for native church planters
  • Administrative help for a Baltimore missionary guiding youth in decision-making in the light of God's Word
  • Relief aid accompanying Christian workers in Pakistan
  • Scholarship help for a missionary family's children
  • Replacement of stolen computer used for research in the Middle East
  • Contribution to the care of rescued child soldiers in Burma
  • Creation of the first pedagogically-sound primer for Central's adopted people group with 58 lessons, staged to help illiterates learn to read with ease
  • Gift boxes for Russian children 6 - 14 years old living in a detention center in Moscow
  • Donation to a local Christian day camp outreach to youth
  • Health need expenses for a missionary
  • Printing fees for Christian literature in the Russian language
