Ministry Profiler - A Service of the Deacons

Published in the News & Views: May 20, 2007

Does this sound like you or someone you know? You are often heard saying "I'll drive" or "I'll pick you up." You are usually happier behind the wheel than in the back seat. You have a decent set of wheels, and of course, a good driving record. Sure, gas prices are going up, but you don't mind giving others a lift. You like to help people in practical ways. You might even say this is your "gift."

Right now you have some flex time that makes you available some day, evening or weekend hours. Perhaps no "ministry" at Central has appealed to you so far, but you are willing to serve if you could find the right thing. You really didn't know that "transportation" could be a ministry! But there are many people that need rides to appointments and church services. You can help! Stop by the Deacon's Desk in the Concourse or call Bob Carman.
