A Sad Good-ByePublished in the News & Views: August 12, 2007It is with great sadness that I tell you about the resignation of Lori Anderson, our most recent addition to the Children's Ministry staff team. Lori was such a blessing when we had to move our nursery rooms, giving great attention to details about the set-up of each room and the comfort and care of the children in new surroundings. She has blessed our workers with her leadership especially in providing clear instructions where needed. Her style of leadership was so excellent that there was no attrition of Nursery volunteers during her time, but instead the numbers of volunteers grew! She made the check-in/check-out process easier for parents and volunteers. She provided great comfort and assurance to parents and volunteers as she looked after the needs of our Nursery children and volunteers. Her time with us was much too short in man's way of thinking, but just right in God's plan. We look forward to God providing us a new Associate Director of Nursery who will continue the good work Lori has begun. We want to ask you to help us thank Lori for her work with us. Would you send her a card of appreciation for the ways she has blessed you and/or your child? Her address is in the directory. Today is Lori's last Sunday as Associate Director of Nursery. We will miss her greatly in that capacity, but she will continue to worship with us at Central. | ||||
