Listen to Sermons Online!

Many of you probably know that Central's website has many sermons transcribed and available for you to read and study. At the moment there are over 146 transcripts going back to 1998. This is a great spiritual treasure trove of Biblical teaching that we make available not only to Central members, but to the world.

The transcripts are great, you can read them online, print them for later or to give to a friend, email them to someone, explore the scripture references linked from each, whatever. A great many people world-wide come to Central's website just by finding them in search engines.

Now we have another way to get that teaching online, listen to them!

We've been trying something new for the past few months; we're posting audio files of sermons. Now you can listen to them on your computer or download them to an MP3 player for later listening. This should be more enjoyable for those who prefer listening to reading and for those who missed a service or speaker that they want to hear. It also helps us get them online faster after a service, since the transcripts take a little while.

Since this is a trial, we're just posting MP3-format files on our normal web-host. This means you have to download the whole file to listen to it. If the audio sermons become a popular option, we will purchase space on a web-host specializing in audio formats so you can listen to them via audio stream. (Sounds technical, but it just means you can start listening as soon as a little of the file is downloaded, or you can download the whole thing if you prefer.)
