Student Mission Trip
Published in the News & Views: July 6, 2003
"Here am I, send me." As Isaiah spoke those words long ago, many of
our middle and high school
students and even some brave adults have
spoken those words and are now on a short term mission trip. They left
Saturday, July 5th. They have gone to work in Dunbar, West Virginia
which is outside Charleston. They will be working in three teams. One
team will work with a children's club, another group will be helping out
at a nursing home, and the final group will be doing home repairs, i.e.
painting and minor construction. They will be joined by two other teams
with a total of 65 people working together to be the hands and feet of
Christ to the people they touch. The names of the students and adults
are listed here. Please pray for them as they minister to others and for
unity as they work with one another. They will be returning Saturday,
July 12th.
