Muslim Prayer Focus During Ramadan

Published in the News & Views: October 19, 2003

prayer Islam has a strong influence on events locally, nationally and around the world. As a Christian you may want to pray for the Islamic world during the important Muslim month of Ramadan, which begins on October 26th and ends on November 24th. There is a booklet, available in the Concourse, which begins with a summary of information pertaining to Muslim history and beliefs. Thereafter follows a page for each of the 30 days, highlighting prayer points for Muslim Worldview, Africa, Southern Asia, Muslims in the West, Middle East and Central Asia. Let us at Central pray that Psalm 22:27 will become reality. "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will worship before You." If you could contribute a dollar or two for the booklet, it would be appreciated. By all means, take one and be a mission pray-er.
