New Career Coaching Ministry

Published in the News & Views: February 22 & 29, 2004

Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life, believes that God made us all different so all the work gets done. In light of this, do you know your differences? That is another way of asking if you know the skills, abilities, and knowledge that God has given you to do the work he has planned for you. (See Exodus 31:1-6)

Whether you are a senior in high school trying to decide on a college to attend and/or a major course of study to follow, a college student trying to confirm your career path, a person in the work force considering transition, or someone who has always wanted to know more about your career gifts, Central Career Coaching could help you.

Career development is a lifelong process of knowing yourself, knowing the job requirements, and fitting the two together. In career coaching, a number of career inventories are used to help explore yours skills, interests, work preferences, values, and career beliefs. The career coaching service is free except for a small fee to cover the purchase and scoring of inventories. Those interested in obtaining more information or an appointment to begin career coaching please call Sally Gornik.
