photo of Rev. Keith Wright Rev. Keith Wright has recently begun working as a Consultant for Equipping Ministries at Central Presbyterian Church. In this short-term, part time role Keith will be assisting the Small Group Ministry, Adult Christian Education, and Equipping Ministry Teams to become more effective in fulfilling Central's vision of being a church without walls.

Keith brings an extensive background in pastoral ministry, strategic leadership, and educational research to Central. Keith has recently served as the Executive Director of the National Center for Leadership in Washington, D. C. and as Interim Senior Pastor at the Brookdale Church in Saint Joseph, Missouri. During the 1990's Keith served as an Associate Pastor at Colonial Presbyterian Church-a large, evangelical church in Kansas City. At Colonial he oversaw 140 small groups, coordinated the church's evangelism efforts, and led the church in establishing a second ministry site. The dissertation he wrote for Fuller Seminary's Doctor of Ministry program proposes strategies for equipping professional people to pursue their callings within the unique arenas where God has placed them.

"I am excited about serving at Central Presbyterian Church," says Wright. "Central has a rich history of vital ministry in the Baltimore community. Its current vision is truly cutting edge. I pray that my experience and background will help Central fulfill its mandate to train more people to embrace their ministry niche and to reach more people for Christ."

Keith's wife, Karen, is the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for World Relief here in Baltimore. They live in Gaithersburg, MD and have two children-Katie (age 6) and Carson (age 5).

Since Keith will only be with us for the summer, please don't forget to pray for the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee. They have an ever increasing list of candidates to look at, and they need God's wisdom!
