"Glorify the Lord, with me; let us exalt his name together."
- Ps. 34:3

It has been a privilege working with so many gifted and enthusiastic people in this year, people whose heart is to praise God and share with others the gifts that God has blessed them with.

The Chancel Choir, directed by Tom Brantigan, has led worship for the traditional services as well as special services such as the Service of Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. They have also helped lead Vesper services at the Presbyterian Home. One of the highlights of this past year was the Festival of Christmas Brass, with an augmented Chancel Choir, Joyful Noise and Resounding Sounds Children's Choirs and special musicians. The Chancel Choir is currently preparing the Brahms Requiem for a spring concert to be presented in conjunction with First English Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The contemporary worship services are led by the Worship Team, a talented and dedicated group of instrumentalists and vocalists. Their help in leading worship for the All Church Retreat, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve services is especially appreciated. The Worship Team was also invited to lead worship for one of Emory Grove's Sunday Evening services in the summer.

Children's and Youth Music Program consists of Joyful Noise Choir, 1st - 4th grades, and Resounding Sounds, 5th - 8th grades. They meet on Sunday evenings from 6pm - 7pm and 7:15pm - 8:15pm respectively for a time of fun and praising God. They have sung in various services during the year and also participated in the Festival of Christmas Brass. It has been a privilege and an inspiration working with them!

The Technical Team has been expanded to include a separate setup team where the youth has also become involved. Jeff Wilkinson is the Sound Team/System Coordinator.

A High School Youth Band has been started, led by Andy and Eileen Gathman. They lead worship for 'Powerhouse' Senior High Fellowship on Sunday evenings.

God is indeed worthy of all our praise, and what a joy it is to praise him with everything we have, in a variety of ways!

I would especially like to thank Jay Biddison and Ruth Williams, as well as Bob Pegues, Mark Vaselkiv and Akiko Turley for helping out as substitute organists and pianists while my wrist was healing.
