Meeting Needs

  • Collecting food and clothing for the needy
  • Sending gift boxes around the world for refugee children
  • Making sandwiches for the homeless in Baltimore
  • Rehabbing Central's 11th house in Sandtown
  • Delivering presents to children of incarcerated parents
  • Contributing Sunday School offering to purchase a llama for Woodberry Crossing
  • Supporting alternative giving projects in December
  • Welcoming visiting missionaries ~ (42 from 22 different countries)
  • Serving at 27 mission agencies in the metropolitan area
  • Contributing to expenses of seminary training of nationals in third world countries
  • Equipping nationals to take leadership in ministry in their native country
  • Interacting with other cultures: 100 people on short-term trips to Bangladesh, Burma, China, Ethiopia, Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Thailand, Ukraine and Alaska, New York City and Tennessee in the United States

Partnerships In Brazil And Burma

  • Sister Church, Ipiranga Presbiteriana, Sao Paolo, Brazil
  • 2004 projects: support for Ipiranga homeless shelter and mutual support of three missionaries
  • Adopted People Group
  • Pine trees purchased to provide income for church planters in Burma

  • Web and Marilyn Brower, from ministry to pastoring a church
  • Kim Hiemstra, from Kazakhstan to Venezuela
  • Mike & Jennifer Frantz, from ministry to grad school
  • Josie Valencia, from Philippines to Georgetown University
  • Adel Kirollos, establishing a seminary in Egypt

New Programs In 2004

  • In connection with three grants from Baltimore Presbytery
  • Completing and dedicating a barn at Woodberry Crossing
  • Presenting an Adult Christian Education class, "God's Love for Muslims"
  • Identifying projects for missions' portion of capital campaign
  • Serving opportunities offered during Missions Fair with 25 local ministries attending

  • Judi Daniels, from college to Campus Crusade for Christ, Loyola
  • Adel Kirollos, establishing a seminary in Egypt
