CPC 1997 Annual Report:
Beyond These Walls...
Praise and Prayer

A VISION...
to grow Central's ministry at 7308 York Road, in the neighborhood, to our city, and around the world. 1997 was the effective beginning of the realization of the first phase of the vision. Ground has been broken to build an expanded educational wing with new offices and facilities, and the mission component funds have started to flow to missions in Baltimore and around the world.
A COMMITMENT...
to raise $1.9 million by June 1999 to fund construction, and to share God's gifts with missions. In 1997, $613,160 was given to fulfill the faith pledges made. The total given since the campaign started is $1,653,900. The Lord has blessed us greatly!
A GROWING REALITY...
the new parking lot is paved and ready for use, and the foundation has been excavated. In late January of 1998, the foundation walls will be constructed, and the old lower lot will be dug up for burying large pipes to manage storm water runoff. While construction was delayed by the permit process, construction is expected to be completed on schedule in early fall.
A NEED...
there will be a shortfall between the total funds expected to be raised, and the total cost of the first phase of construction and missions. Total costs, including architect and engineers, construction, missions, furnishings and fund raising, are expected to be $2.85 million. Total receipts are expected to be $2.4 million. Will you prayerfully consider helping to close the gap?
