Remember the theme song for the television show "Cheers?" "You want to go where everybody knows your name..." We all have a desire to belong.

Equipping Ministries is about more than just mobilizing members into ministry. We also help foster the relationships that nourish growth.

The Small Groups Ministry is at the core of helping develop relationships at Central. A small group is an ideal environment for connecting with others in meaningful, faith-building relationships. A small group also provides the opportunity to experience how God has designed us different from one another in order to complement each other, and ultimately accomplish more for his kingdom than we could alone. What a strong example we've been given in Jesus, who lived out his years of ministry as a member of a small group, the twelve Disciples.

Central's members are involved in about 40 small groups and there are a number of new groups forming this fall. If you are without a small group, please check the small groups box on the pew card Sunday morning, or call the church office for more information. Our goal is to find a place for each and every person at Central to connect with others. Let us know how we can help you!
