The Filling Station, October 28, 2003
What a great time! On Oct. 28 at Central we enjoyed our first leadership
event under the new title: "The Filling Station."
Worship, some humor, good
refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere greeted the leaders. Pastor John lead
the teaching time with giving a overall perspective on how the world around
us has radically changed, which calls for a different way to "do church." As
he said, "it's not your Grandma's church anymore."
He then went on to share how the Session is fasting and praying as they
listen for the Lord's leading about become a church that can minister to
this changing culture around us. How we can become a "church without walls."

The audio file of this talk is available for
download and listening in MP3 format.
