The youth enjoy a watery get-together with the paddle boats.

A few of the cabins. Each of these can hold about a dozen people in each of
two large rooms. There are also lodges with small rooms for individual familes
who prefer a bit more privacy and a B&B in town as another option.

Another view of summit lake. The whole retreat area is in a cupped area back
in the mountains, so it's isolated from everything outside. It's a perfect
place to unwind with friends in the glory of God's creation.

Friends enjoy a chat in the sunshine while others play softball, frisbee or volleyball.

'Bubba' is caught! ... then released, so come take your try...
disclaimer: most people catch sunnies, not giant bass.

Great speakers each year guide and teach us in the tabernacle.

Youth and adults all enjoy singing worship songs together. Generally a lot of
youth come on the retreat, enjoying a separate program of teaching along
with fellowship and the occasional super-soaker battle.

There are separate activities for kids of all ages during the adult sessions,
then all ages get together for worship, meals, fun and free times.

Each year, we enjoy a talent show with a wide variety of acts, some
serious, but most not at all. Here, Sonny and Cher stage a come-back...
Unfortunately Cher has developed a serious body and facial hair problem
in recent years ;-)

Can you blow up a surgical glove, on your head, using your nose?

It's really amazing how big a surgical glove can get on the head of an expert.

Each year the speaker and our pastors wrap up the talent show with a dress-up
lip sync of a famous band... We've seen the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Beegees and here
are Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson.
More to come... photos of some sessions with the speaker, worship and
singing together, super-soaker wars, the annual bonfire (with singing) and more...
