Prayer for the School Year

Education comes in many forms in the lives of the families and children of Central. Most of our children attend public schools, while a significant number are home-schooled or attend private schools.

Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."

Pray that each student may:

be conformed to the image of Christ
have a willingness to learn
take pride in his/her efforts
develop knowledge skill, ability and character
let his/her light shine
seek truth
pursue excellence

Pray that parents, teachers, and administrators may:

have wisdom
be patient and kind
communicate clearly
maintain an environment conducive to learning
be enthusiastic

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
