Children’s Electronic Check-In

Check-in Kiosk Locations
Check-in for Sunday School moves from classrooms to 2 new locations.
Parents WITH INFANTS and TODDLERS – Check-in at the kiosk on the lower level across from the elevator

Parents with PRESCHOOLERS-5th GRADERS – Check-in at the east end of the Concourse (by the Sanctuary!)

MIDDLE SCHOOLERS and HIGH SCHOOLERS – Check themselves in at their classrooms

Check-out Procedure
Birth-5th Grade –  A parent with a corresponding claim label is required to check out.

Restricted Access
Access to the lower level of the building will be restricted to those serving in Children’s Ministry that day and those dropping off/picking up children.


Why do we need a check-in system?

We place a high value of keeping your children safe. Because this is such a high priority, we will be implementing new check-in and check-out security measures to ensure that this happens.

How does this work?

Families will go to a kiosk and enter their telephone number. A name tag for each child and a parent security tag containing a unique security code will be printed. When picking up, a parent will show their security tag to enter the secure children’s hallways and classrooms to retrieve their children.

Where are the check-in kiosks located?

Families with infants and toddlers may check-in at the kiosk on the lower level (across from the elevator). Guests and families with preschoolers & elementary-aged children will check-in at a kiosk at the east end of the Concourse (near the Sanctuary).

What time can I check my child in?

Kiosks will be up and running 15 minutes prior to any service. We are unable to accept children into the classrooms before that time.

Can I check in all of my children at one kiosk?

Yes! You will be able to check in all of your children at one time.

Why is my infant or toddler issued three tags at check-in?

Your Nursery child will receive two name tags: one should be placed on his/her back and the 2nd should be placed on the child’s diaper bag. The other tag is for you to wear and present to your child’s teacher when you pick up. Note: There are 2 identical parent tags on one label. That way tags can be split between mom and dad!

How will you contact me if my child needs me?

Parents with infants and toddlers will be paged via your parent pager and/or text messaging. Parents of 2’s – 5th graders will be texted via your cell phone number in our database. Please keep your cell phone on your person and set to ‘vibrate’ in case we need to contact you.

What happens if I lose my parent security tag?

Please return to the Children’s Ministry Welcome area and a trained team member will call for a member of our Children’s Ministry staff. You will be asked to show a photo ID to verify you are authorized to pick up the child before the child is released to you.

How do I check in a child (friend of son/daughter) who is visiting without a parent?

Please go to our guest family kiosk on the upper level where a volunteer will add the visiting child to the system with the host parents as guardians.

How do first-time guests check in?

If you are a first time guest or bring a first time guest, please bring them to the Children’s Ministry Welcome Area on the upper level. A trained team member will take some information from them and get them checked in as quickly as possible.
