Dear Children’s Ministry Families,

As the new school year approaches, I wanted to communicate our plan for fall Children’s Ministry programming.

Children’s Ministry programming will continue to be provided online until further notice.  We miss seeing you and being with your children, but we value the health and safety of our families and our volunteers.  However, we are excited to have children move up (virtually) on Sunday, September 13th.

As in years past, ‘Move Up Sunday’ means that children will move up to new classes or grades based on their birthday or grade.  These changes will happen in our database; there is nothing you need to do on your part.

Families with preschoolers: You can access our weekly online content, Sundays at Home, on our website, which is updated each Wednesday afternoon for the upcoming Sunday.  There you will find a worship and Bible story video, a weekly activity guide and a monthly printable placemat.  In addition, you can find helpful parent resources as well as a link to our Spotify preschool playlist.

Families with elementary-aged children: You can access our weekly online content, Sundays at Home  on our website, which is updated each Wednesday afternoon for the upcoming Sunday.  There you will find a worship and Bible story video, a weekly activity guide and a weekly devotional for both elementary-age children (1st-3rd grade) and preteens (4th and 5th grade).  In addition, you can find helpful parent resources as well as a link to our Spotify elementary playlist.

Starting this month and lasting through the end of the year, we will offer monthly activity kits for children ages 3-5th grade. These kits will contain fun widgets, activities and resources that complement each month’s curriculum lessons and theme. Kits will be provided to preview for each family in September; families will need to opt-in to receive kits in October, November and December.  We will offer the opportunity for you to drive by and pick up activity kits for your children this Saturday, September 12th from 10 am – 12 pm at the church’s main entrance.  If you are unable to pick up bags this weekend, we can deliver them to your home.

In October, we will launch virtual small groups for any preschooler or elementary-aged child who wishes to be part of them.  Stay tuned for more information about this!

During these unprecedented times, we remain committed to partnering with you to help your child grow and develop in their relationship with Jesus.  Despite all of the changes we’ve endured, the love that Jesus has for your child has remained unwavered.
