Editor Styles Test

Hello! All of the styles on this page were made in the post editor. You should now see a drop down in the post editor titled “formats”, this is where you will find the styles. If you don’t see it, make sure you are in the visual tab. It doesn’t show up in the text tab, since the text tab assumes you will be writing your own markup.

Using the formats feature will probably work best if you enter your content first, then format it. To add a style, highlight the elements that you want to style, then select the style that you want to apply.

Some items can take multiple styles – for example, to make a big grey paragraph you would highlight your text, apply big paragraph, then apply grey paragraph.

To make a button you have to create your link, then apply your button style. You can add multiple styles to buttons as well – for example, for a big, wide, blue button – you would choose each of the appropriate styles.

If things get wonky, remember that you can always remove styles with the clear styles button (it looks like a little eraser). All of this will begin to make more sense as your understanding of HTML and CSS grows.

Here’s a regular paragraph. You don’t have to select anything to use this. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

Here’s a larger paragraph. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

Here’s a grey paragraph. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

Here’s a large grey paragraph. I made this paragraph by selecting the type, choosing large paragraph, then choosing grey paragraph.

This is just a regular link that you can make into a button by applying a button style.
