Elders are elected and ordained from within the congregation to give spiritual guidance, shepherd, teach, pray and set direction. At Central, elders are male and female, serve three-year terms and also function as trustees.

  • Devoted follower of Jesus.
  • Exhibits godly wisdom and maturity of faith.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and a compassionate spirit.
  • Faithful in worship attendance.
  • Engaged in Central’s program life.
  • A regular contributor to Central’s budget.
  • May not serve more than two consecutive three-year terms on the same board.
