Jumping Ship @ Whirlwind
Friday Nights | 7:00 – 9:30 PM
In our culture today, there is the expression “shipping” in which you express your desire for two people (real or fictional) to enter into a relationship.
On Fridays at Whirlwind, we will be beginning some conversations about relationships and what our culture says and what God is saying. These conversations will include talks on friends, the opposite gender, dating, and God’s view on sex.

Whirlwind is a great environment for Middle School students to connect with God. Below are some resources for the OTHER 6 days of the week.
Saturdays
Read John 13:1-17 and find someone you can serve today.
Sundays
Find a quiet place and spend 5 minutes in silence and stillness.
Pray “God, help me to hear you. Help me to see you” repeatedly.
Seek to be more aware of God throughout your day.
Mondays
Choose one of the verses below and commit it to memory this week.
Tuesdays
Get together with a friend of two.
Read Hebrews 10:24-25 and pray for each other.
Wednesdays
Choose one of the passages below and read it through slowly two times. Ask God what He wants you to take away from these verses. Read it one more time and write down the thoughts that come to you.
Thursdays
At the end of the day, ask yourself these questions…
- When this week did I feel most connected to God and others?
- When this week did I feel most alone?
