Friday Nights | 7:00 – 9:30 PM
This Friday at Whirlwind, we will be talking about social justice and how God challenges us to be His agents for justice in our world today.
Whirlwind is a great environment for Middle School students to connect with God. Below are some resources for the OTHER 6 days of the week.
Choose one of the verses below and commit it to memory.
Micah 6:8, Psalm 103:6, Isaiah 58:10
Find a quiet place and spend 5 minutes in silence. Pray “God, help me to see as you see, help me to do as you do” repeatedly. Return to this prayer throughout your day.
Find a way to serve your community today. Visit RANDOMACTSOFKINDNESS.ORG for ideas.
Pray for the world. Go to www.operationworld.org and pray for the featured nation or the nation of your choosing.
Choose one of the passages below and read it through slowly two times. Ask God what he wants you to take away from these verses. Read it one more time and write down the thoughts that come to you.
Matthew 6:1-4, Isaiah 42:1-7, John 5:1-15
At the end of the day, ask yourself these questions…
At what moments today did you see God at work?
At what moments today did you see a greater need for God?
