Winter Meltdown Retreat Weekend
RESCHEDULED DATE: March 11-13 | River Valley Ranch
Winter Meltdown is our annual Middle School Retreat at River Valley Ranch (4443 Grave Run Road, Manchester, MD 21102). In January, we will join middle school groups around the area for an incredible 2 days of great music, insightful teaching, powerful videos, fun games, horseback riding, dodgeball, paintball, ziplining, and much, much more!
The cost for the weekend is $160 for students and $80 for leaders. This covers food, lodging, and all activity costs. Scholarships are available upon request. (Click this link for details.) Please don’t allow limited funds to keep you from this opportunity!
2022 Winter Meltdown Details
We will be meeting at Central on Friday, March 11 at 6:30 PM to leave and will return on Sunday, March 13 around noon.
Students should bring bedding (pillow, sleeping bag, and/or linens), toiletries, warm clothes and appropriate outerwear, a Bible, and 2-3 masks. (Optional: Money for the camp store)
There will soon be a Pre-Screening Form available for the week before Winter Meltdown that will need to be filled out each day and submitted on the Friday we leave.
In the past, we have relied heavily on our church bus for transportation to and from events like Winter Meltdown. That is no longer a viable option. We could rent large vans, but that would increase the cost of events. In order to keep costs down, we need to rely on leaders and parents to drive.
If you would be willing to drive either Friday, Sunday, or both days, please email Amy Davidson (adavidson@centralpc.org)
