Each year we have the privilege to elect our leadership for the upcoming year. A congregational-led nominating committee submits a list of eligible candidates for leadership to be voted upon at the annual meeting. The current committee is seeking nominations from the congregation for the offices of Elder & Deacon and for next year’s Nominating Committee.
Please give prayerful consideration to your suggestion of a person to be considered by the committee for nomination.
For an overseer, as God’s administrator, must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not addicted to wine, not a bully, not greedy for money, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, righteous, holy, self-controlled, holding to the faithful message as taught, so that he will be able both to encourage with sound teaching and to refute those who contradict it.
Titus 1:7-9 (HCSB)
