Acts4Youth nurtures personal, social and spiritual development in at-risk Baltimore City youth through its mentoring programs. Its vision is to see Baltimore City youth restored to wholeness and thriving within their communities.
2019 Summer program needs
HopeSprings exists to awaken, equip, and engage the church to respond to the HIV pandemic in Baltimore. Through a network of churches, they train and equip thousands of volunteers to join partner organizations in serving those infected and affected by HIV.
Helping Up Mission provides hope to the poor and homeless through programs designed to meet their individual physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. They are both an overnight shelter and a destination for long-term addiction recovery.
Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel is Central’s sister church in San Salvador, El Salvador. The church focuses on service and evangelism in the form of youth centers, Christian education, and church plants with an emphasis on peace and justice.
Barbara Rowe is also a Central supported missionary in El Salvador. Her ministry focus is the Faro Project (Christ for the City Int’l) a ministry which supports local churches in their efforts to open Christian youth centers. She also serves in the prison ministry, speaking to incarcerated teens about God.
Central partners with the Wa people in the highlands of Southeast Asia to enhance their lives spiritually and physically. This partnership currently focuses on literacy, agricultural practices, orphan care, and training for national church planters.
