April Outreach Focus: ACTC

Focus Ministries

Acts4Youth nurtures personal, social and spiritual development in at-risk Baltimore City youth through its mentoring programs. Its vision is to see Baltimore City youth restored to wholeness and thriving within their communities.

HopeSprings exists to awaken, equip, and engage the church to respond to the HIV pandemic in Baltimore. Through a network of churches, they train and equip thousands of volunteers to join partner organizations in serving those infected and affected by HIV.

Helping Up Mission

Helping Up Mission provides hope to the poor and homeless through programs designed to meet their individual physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. They are both an overnight shelter and a destination for long-term addiction recovery.

Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel

Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel is Central’s sister church in San Salvador, El Salvador. The church focuses on service and evangelism in the form of youth centers, Christian education, and church plants with an emphasis on peace and justice.

The Wa People

Central partners with the Wa people in the highlands of Southeast Asia to enhance their lives spiritually and physically. This partnership currently focuses on literacy, agricultural practices, orphan care, and training for national church planters.

Central has a long heritage of caring deeply about the neighborhood, the Baltimore metro area, and the world at large. By partnering with local and international ministries and non-profits, Central is committed to sharing the grace of God with neighbors and throughout the world.

The people at Central are an essential part of any outreach and are encouraged to serve out of their gifts and passions. Each person plays an important role in manifesting Christ’s compassion for the world.
