Acts4Youth exists to alter the trajectory for vulnerable Baltimore City Youth by restoring a sense of well-being and enduring hope. Through their programs, they help Baltimore City youth thrive in school, and become strong assets to their families, employers and communities.

Central believes in Acts4Youth and the important work in the City of Baltimore. We host groups their after-school groups regularly throughout the school year. This year, they have added K-3 to their programs as well! Acts4Youth has the unique opportunity to serve children both in and out of the school setting, which allows them to invest deeply in the lives of their youth.

Your regular giving already helps Acts4Youth to serve the youth of our city. This September, our focus is to give a little extra to help fund hot meals for their weekly programs. It takes $350 per week to provide food for all of their programs and we hope to make a big impact on their budget for this school year. Contribute by donating via the drop down box to the right. Acts4Youth Programs

Foundations: This program nurtures essential life skills during the school day. A4Y Staff teach weekly non-cognitive classes during the school day to all students in grades Kindergarten through 8th at Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School.

Shine into Womanhood: The focus of this program is to help middle school aged girls develop their inner beauty by intentionally nurturing their character, emotional, social, and spiritual development.*

Game Plan to Manhood: The purpose of Game Plan is to help middle school aged boys live out their faith in the context of their role as a male in society, with the goal of becoming assets within their communities.*

Pathways: The Pathways program for high-school students offers Saturday sessions which help the students navigate through challenges and opportunities as they look toward their future after high school. One on one mentoring and a paid summer internship are offered to 11th and 12th graders.

* Both of these programs include weekly gatherings at a local church, lunchtime meetings with a staff mentor, and weekend and summer retreats.
