PNC Update

Luke 5:4-6  –  When Jesus had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we have worked all night long but have caught nothing. Yet if you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets were beginning to burst.

The PNC’s search for a Senior. Pastor is in a new season of flourishing.  We’re seeing the broader pastoral community respond positively to Central’s faith and willingness to “fish with Jesus.” With renewed vigor, we are continuing to review applications and questionnaires, watch sermons, and conduct Zoom interviews with our trusty rubrics in hand. We have enjoyed several informal networking opportunities with various candidates and are preparing to expand our interactions with interested candidates through in-person visits.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and please continue to pray for us in this exciting season of discernment.

How can you help?

There are several ways to support the PNC as they discern God’s will for Central:

PRAYER – Pray for each member of the PNC by name. Participate in Congregational Prayer on the 4th Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm. Pray with the Prayer group meeting on the first Monday at 10:30 am

ENCOURAGEMENT – Send a note or email of encouragement to thank the PNC members.

MEALS – Meeting weekly takes a toll on family life. Consider offering a meal or gift card to those on the PNC. Sign up to learn of needs.
