Eric Frey has been a member of Central since he moved from North Carolina in 2002. He was raised in a Christian family, but didn’t fully accept Christ until his late 20s. He and his wife, Esther have two grown children, Ethan and Sarah. He is recently retired as a medical physics researcher at JHU. He also co-founded a tech startup. In NC he served as an deacon, elder and on an associate pastor nominating committee. At Central he organized an alternative giving program for several years, helped co-lead a high school Sunday school class, helped lead classes on racial reconciliation and justice, is a continuous participant and co-leader of a small group, and served as an elder. He tutored at Helping Up Mission and mentored two young men in a Young Life mentoring program. He enjoys travel, bicycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.
